School News

Columbus Academy celebrated seven more seniors who will continue their athletic careers on the collegiate level: KJ Boyce (men's track, Brown University), Nate Goldfarb (men's swimming, Georgetown University), Audrey Grammel (women's cross country/track/swimming, Davidson College), Evan Lane (men's crew, University of California, Berkeley), Natalie L'Hommedieu (field hockey, Nazareth College), Tin Le (men's swimming, Allegheny College) and Andrew Meyers (football, Texas Wesleyan University). That brings the number of college student-athletes to 21 of our 95-member Class of 2017!
Our partnership with NBC4 this school year recently concluded with a feature on the World Peace Game, a new capstone project for our entire fifth grade. According to Lauren Shuneson, it's a terrific way to tie all of the things these students have learned in Lower School together into something challenging that would bring them together as a class.
