Fired Up, Ready To Go!
Pastor Ulysses Stephen King, Jr., Lady Tiffany E. Grant King, and the Memorial Tabernacle Family welcome you to our worship services. We invite you to become a part of a growing ministry that is "reaching to teach, teaching to change" one person and one block at a time. We pray you will enjoy the service and worship again with us.
Our Mission...
The Memorial Tabernacle Church has come together by the Holy Spirit for the specific purpose of preaching and teaching the word of God, (the Bible), and about Jesus Christ, God's son, and to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God to the North Oakland Community and its environs; to bring healing to the brokenhearted and deliverance to the oppressed.

Notes On Sunday's Sermon
"GOD WILL NEVER LET YOU GO" (
Psalm 139:7-10, 23, 24; 2 Corinthians 5:21)
Speaker: ELDER MRS. JEANETTE WORTZ
No matter where you find yourself in life, God will never let you go. David was the king of Israel. He was chosen by God and anointed. The Bible calls him "a man after God's own heart." Often because of our behavior, the things we engage in, and the things we allow ourselves to think, and the directions we take, we may think God gives up on us. I c
ome to tell you, He does not! We give up on ourselves and on each other. God is faithful. He said in Revelations 3:20, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." In other words, God will sit at the table with you. You're just that special!
We could never do, be, or say enough to merit God's favor. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5:21 that Jesus became "sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God." Jesus went to the cross so that we might be all that God intended for us to be. Your name may not be written in the Scriptures, but God cares just as much about you. Jeremiah 1:5 reminds us of God the great creator, who said, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you."
God began using David as a boy. David messed up. David had issues - secret sins. He made mistakes from his youth as a shepherd boy through his adulthood as king over Israel. However, when David messed up he knew what to do. He confessed his sins and repented to God immediately. He didn't wait until he felt the time was right. The time was "right now!" God is merciful and has compassion on us. He will never give up on you!
