May 2017
FINAL Parent Council Meeting:

Tuesday June 6th at 7:00 p.m. in the school library.

All are welcome!!
Dear  ,
We trust that you and your family had a wonderful May long weekend.  It won't be long now until summer is here and the 2016/17 school year is over. We have only one more parent council meeting on June 6th. Please join us if you would like to help plan and/or share any ideas you have for the 2017/18 school year.

Patricia Cornejo and Darlene Saks represented the CSPC at the Welcome to Kindergarten night held at the school on May 10. Many parents stopped by the new CSPC booth to learn about the council and there were close to 20 parents who signed up for the newsletter. Bienvenue to the new families!

Committee Updates
St. Cyril Green Team
The Willow Wall is completed! It looks fabulous and will provide a much needed shield from the parking lot. Now it's time to water! water! water! Thankfully Mother Nature has been giving us a helping hand as of late.

S t. Cyril BBQ Committee
(Volunteers & Silent Auction Items needed)
The St. Cyril BBQ committee is beginning to plan for the 2017 BBQ that happens in September. The first meeting will be held on April 26th in the school library. A lot of people are needed to make this event happen. No matter how big the contribution, whether it is flipping burgers or organizing games or donating items for the silent auction or game prizes, without that help, the event could not be the success it is year over year. The committee is asking reaching out to you for Silent Auction Items  This could be any unused new item that you have, or it could be tickets to an event or for a service. Maybe you own a business and can donate your service. the items are endless. If you have something in mind but are unsure, OR if you would like to be part of the committee, please contact Patricia Cornejo at  [email protected]
