Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU) celebrated the opening of its newest office, located at 18 Mile and Mound Roads in Sterling Heights, with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony on May 10. The branch has been open since March 27, but the ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration mark the official welcome to the neighborhood. The Mayor of Sterling Heights, Macomb County and Sterling Heights Chamber representatives, and the MSGCU Board and Executive Management Team gathered for the event.

Operation Wellness
Operation Wellness celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting on May 12th. Operation Wellness is a medical fitness center located in Sterling Heights on Irving Road. They focus on the overall wellness and health of a guest instead of just fitness. It is a completely renovated 17,000 square foot facility! With Sterling Heights Regional Chamber representatives, along with Mayor Pro Tem Barb Ziarko, we welcomed Operation Wellness to the Sterling Heights community and to the Chamber.

M-59 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT UPDATE FROM MDOT:
Less than a week after closing Hayes, we are not far from being able to reopen it to traffic. We are on track to have Hayes open by Friday in time for the holiday weekend. Additionally this week, we plan to have Eastbrook, Canterbury and Northpointe all open by Friday too. We are doing our best to complete all of this work despite the impending poor weather conditions.
The closure of Hayes has been tough for many of you and we thank you for your patience. We have been working diligently to complete this work as quickly as possible.
