Villa Park Resident Catherine Sorensen Named 2017 Americana Woman of the Year!
The City of Villa Park honors Catherine Sorensen as the recipient of the Woman of the Year award at the prestigious Cypress College Americana Awards.

Catherine has years of personal success in a sales and real estate career. However, even more impressive, is her lifelong commitment to community service and empowering the less fortunate youth in Orange County.

In the photo, starting from the left is Dr. Robert Simpson President of Cypress College, Villa Park Mayor Pro Tem Collacott, Catherine Sorensen and Phi Wendel President of the Cypress College Foundation Board of Directors. The ribbon on Catherine and on Phil represents Americana honorees, past and present. Each honoree receives a ribbon from the Foundation Board President.

The City of Villa Park will be honoring and congratulating Catherine Sorensen on this prestigious award at its next regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
