BUT FIRST, REGION VII NEEDS YOUR
SESSION PROPOSALS!

   REGULAR Session Presentations Are:
  • the essence of our conference and your chance to showcase your knowledge, ideas, initiatives, approaches, challenges and successes
  • can be presented solo, by 2-3 peers, as a panel or discussion
  • considered for the "Regional Highlight" which automatically go to the NAFSA Conference
  • Deadline to submit proposal: June 15th

  • POSTER Session Presentations Are:
  • a wonderful way to engage one-on-one with attendees.
  • allow you to receive direct eye-level, handshake, verbal feedback.
  • are less intimidating and more personal than traditional sessions.
  • a great way to provide newcomers confidence, experience and contacts.
  • an efficient way to showcase more specific data, methods, pedagogy, and programs in a smaller, visual, "elevator speech" approach. Handouts are welcome!
  • Deadline to submit proposal: July 14th

  •  PROPOSALS DUE SOON
Proposals are simply a snapshot or abstract of your idea with a simply stated overview and learning objectives. Develop the full presentation once selected, well before the conference.
    • Good sessions re-presented or updated from state conferences are welcome.
    • If you attended NAFSA and saw a good presentation, please share it at regional.
