UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program recently appointed of Ivan Gomez, MD, FAAFP, as Chief of Family and Community Medicine and Vice-Chair of Family and Community Medicine at UCSF. Dr. Gomez was inducted into the Academy in 2015. Read more

Dean Talmadge E. King, Jr., MD, announced the appointment of S. Andrew Josephson, MD, as the new chair of UC San Francisco's Department of Neurology, effective July 1. Dr. Josephson has been a member of the Academy since 2008 and is a member and former chair of the Academy's Membership Committee. Read more

Dean Talmadge E. King, Jr., MD, announced the appointment of Catherine Lucey, MD, as the Executive Vice Dean for the School of Medicine. She will continue to serve in her important role as Vice Dean for Education. Dr. Lucey was inducted into Academy in 2014. Read more

We've created a low barrier process to become a TOP Observer through our in-person workshops. TOP, established by the Academy in 2005, strives to serve all UCSF faculty with teaching observations and peer feedback. Register today
