Kick off this summer's Concerts in the Park with the Funk Frequency - Tribute to Prince and the Minneapolis Sound. Join us at City Hall on June 14 at 7:30 p.m. To learn more about upcoming concerts this summer, visit vaughan.ca/concerts. 
New signature park: North Maple Regional Park is set to open in 2018
North Maple Regional Park is the largest and most ambitious park development project in Vaughan's history. The 200-acre property is envisioned to be a city-wide cultural and recreational destination that features a variety of year-round uses for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Resident recognized posthumously for work with ratepayers association 
Last month, the Ward 4 Civic Hero Award was presented to the late Alan Slobodsky. Mr. Slobodsky was a member of the board of directors of the Preserve Thornhill Woods Ratepayers Association, and helped the group find common ground and resolve issues around developments in the community.

Safety is our priority

It recognizes homeowners and businesses who demonstrate exceptional pride and effort in maintaining their properties. Deadline to nominate is June 23.

 
Taking water from a hydrant is illegal
Connecting to a hydrant can cause water contamination, damage to the hydrant and watermains or a reduction in water pressure. Repairs may also result in additional cost to residents. Report illegal connections at

Delivering stormwater services for years to come
Stormwater can cause flooding and property damage. The stormwater charge protects property, the environment and water quality. The stormwater fee is a one-time annual charge that will appear on utility bills starting in June.

2017 Mayor's Gala 
The Mayor's Gala brings  a renewed spirit of generosity and compassion to Vaughan. This premier 
fundraising event  supports more than  100 not-for-profit and community organizations .

Unveiling Vaughan's electric vehicle network 
Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Transportation Minister Steven Del Duca will unveil two new electric vehicle chargers  at the Joint Operations Centre at
11:30 a.m.
 You can also take an electric vehicle for a spin.

Environmental Day
Mark your calendar. There will be another Environmental  Day at North Thornhill Community Centre from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Exchange your damaged City-issued blue boxes, get FREE mulch and more.
