Results of Voting on Bylaws Amendments
Thank you to the 410 people who voted on proposed changes to the Bylaws. A special word of thanks to Gordon Hilsman and Jeffery Silberman for the time and thought they gave to the proposed changes.

We have learned that about a dozen people had difficulty for one reason or another, and we appreciate the feedback as we look to improve the process of electronic voting. For complete results, please click here.
Stories from Summer Units
We'd love to hear from your students, especially stories of how their experiences have shaped their understanding, how they feel they have grown as spiritual caregivers, and how they see the world differently because of the ACPE experiences. If you have students who are willing, please send their stories to John Roch, Tiffany Kindred or Jasmine Okafor.  We love sharing your good work with foundations and others who support the mission of the ACPE!

Have you seen the information about ACPE Innovation Grants? If not, check them out. Proposals are due August 4!
Titles for SESs and Candidates
After the announcement about ACPE's new logo, titles, and designations, we received some inquiries regarding the terminology for Supervisory Education Students (SES) and Supervisory Candidates. Our rebranding team did not address the titles for SESs or Candidates because the terms were already being considered by the Certification Implementation Team. Those membership categories will receive updated names as the new certification process is implemented.
Transforming Chaplaincy Research Fellows
Congratulations to the new Transforming Chaplaincy Research Fellows. The chaplain research fellowships are one of the three components of the TC project funded by grants of $4.5M from the John Templeton Foundation with additional support from the major professional chaplaincy and pastoral education organizations (ACPE, Association of Professional Chaplains, National Association of Catholic Chaplains and Neshama - Association of Jewish Chaplains).

As summer groups begin and students wrestle with whatever this CPE process is, I am reminded of this prayer of Rumi, from Quatrain 158. May your soul and those of your fellow sojourners find one another in ways that help transform our work:
