West Metro Fire Foundation Firehouse Project

West Metro Fire Rescue Foundation is hosting a Firehouse In-formal to raise money for the Firehouse Project. The Project aims to build a Firehouse Museum at the Lakewood Heritage Center to display antique firefighting equipment and other historic features from Lakewood Fire Department, Bancroft Fire, Montair Fire Department, Edgewater Fire Department and Wheat Ridge Fire. Supporting Colorado Mills
The City of Lakewood has been receiving phone calls on how businesses can support Colorado Mills during these difficult times.  Colorado Mills is working directly with their tenants to mitigate the impacts during the closures for the rebuild. As a result, if you have job opportunities, the management is providing an informational website for access by the impacted retailers and their employees. Mandatory Reporting Training for At Risk Residents
If you are considered a mandatory reporter in Colorado, this training is for you!  The training will address statutory changes in 2016 that added adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to the definition of at-risk adults, which also includes any adult aged 70 or older.
