Graduates must reserve their tickets by June 14. Graduates who reserve their tickets before June 14 may request up to two additional tickets from June 19 through June 21. Additional tickets will be available while quantities last on a first come, first served basis.

Honor your new graduate with a commencement program tribute or a commemorative brick...or both! Deadline to order is May 24.

Commencement Tickets - new process

WMU graduates now have a more convenient way to request and receive their commencement guest tickets.

Eligible graduates will be able to order guest tickets online using their Bronco Net ID and password. After completing the ticket reservation process, students will be able to print a PDF ticket or send the ticket electronically to their guest.

Electronic tickets are generated with a unique identifier that is traceable back to the student who requested them. Tickets can be printed multiple times; however, they can only be scanned once at Miller Auditorium. Duplicate tickets with the same bar code will be denied entrance after the first ticket has been scanned.

Important Financial Information - new students and families

To help ensure students and families have the information needed to receive the maximum financial aid for which your student may be eligible, financial aid representatives have been reaching out directly to first-year students registered for orientation regarding:
  • Submitting the FAFSA if they have not done so already.
  • Ensuring that if they did file a FAFSA, that the school codes match and personal information is correct so that Financial Aid can determine the student's financial aid package.
  • Prior to orientation, completing outstanding requirements that prevent financial aid disbursement.
A temporary registration hold will be placed on the accounts of students with outstanding requirements that would prevent disbursement of their financial aid.

Heading into orientation, this hold will be lifted after all requirements have been met. Should the outstanding requirements remain at the time of orientation and registration, students will receive an informational document and a form they will be asked to sign to address the hold. Counselors will be on hand at orientation check-in to speak to students and families for this purpose.

Our goal is to ensure that your student understands the full picture of costs and available aid to ensure that academic and financial planning will be aligned to support your student's start as a WMU Bronco!

Your student can access information at any time about outstanding requirements and their status by checking the Student Home tab in the GoWMU portal.

For questions, please visit wmich.edu/broncoexpress/faq and scroll down to the "Requirements and Processing" section for instructions on completing any requirements. Bronco Express can be contacted at (269) 387-6000 or visit their office in the lower level of the Bernhard Center on campus.
