GET INVOLVED

I am looking forward to 2017! I know we are two months into the year, but 2017 has been great already and the next few months are looking better everyday. I spent a week in January at the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation's Institute for Organization Management in Tucson, AZ, serving on the Board of Regents for Winter Institute. I was asked to increase my involvement on our ICCE Board of Directors as Treasurer/Secretary. And Orange City received the nod to be the starting community for RAGBRAI XLV in July, our first time hosting this event.

2017 is going to be busy! But I know I have the support of our members, community, AND my ICCE colleagues. ICCE has been instrumental in my professional development in the last 9 years. ICCE can be, and should be, your resource for assistance in your daily job as a chamber of commerce professional. Below are a few ways that you can get involved with ICCE, many will be mentioned in more detail in this newsletter. I want to highlight some of things that helped me along the way!

There is only one way to get the full benefit of your membership in ICCE, Get Involved! That sure does sound familiar, doesn't it......

Join us for our 2017 One Day Conference happening April 12. Join us at the Waukee Community Center to hear Kyle Sexton speak. Kyle will present on various topics including: 10-Tiered Membership Mistakes (You Don't Have to Make), Turning Social Media into Business Media, and Telling Your Chamber Story in 2017. Register today!

Be on the lookout for our upcoming ICCE survey! We will be sending out a survey on the specific benefits of ICCE and what we can do for you. Please take some time to give us your feedback. We value and appreciate your opinions of how we can make ICCE better.
