Seattle, WA 98112
206-329-5994

Aluel Cellars is focused on limited production of elegant wines handcrafted in the old-world style to showcase great fruit sourced from some of the top vineyards across Washington state.  Our tasting room is located right off of Broadway (on the corner of Harvard and E. Thomas) and just one block from the Capitol Hill light rail station.  We are open five days a week, Wednesdays through Sundays.  Come visit us and enjoy a wine flight, a glass, or a bottle, artisanal cheeses, gourmet charcuterie, small bites, locally handcrafted chocolate and truffles, and our popular cheese and chocolate pairings.

Did you know that we have an upstairs loft space that is perfect for hosting your next private event?  Our space can comfortably seat up to 16 people for seated tastings, work meetings, and more.  We can also reconfigure the layout to host larger private parties for around 30 people.  We offer an extended food menu for parties or you can use our preferred caterer who is a former chef at a Michelin star restaurant to ensure that your guests are fully satisfied.

Clean Sweep 2017

June 4, 10AM-1:30PM
Cal Anderson Park

Every Spring the Chamber partners with Seattle  Pridefest  to organize Clean Sweep, a Pride Month kick-off event that draws 300-400 volunteers from around the neighborhood.

Volunteers meet at Cal Anderson park at 10am for coffee and pastries generously donated by our local Starbucks on Olive Way. REGISTER TODAY (FREE):
PUT TOGETHER A TEAM! Teams are generally 6-10 people. Companies and non-profits are encouraged to put a team together and to wear your own t-shirts to promote your contribution. Or wear ours. Or wear both!

Sponsors of Clean Sweep are recognized for their support of a Capitol Hill tradition that brings neighbors, friends, families, kids and colleagues together in stewardship of our beloved community.

We would like to highlight our generous Sponsors whose contributions helped make Clean Sweep happen:

The Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce is partnering with local services providers to offer free haircuts, health care, discounted transit passes and care packages to the community after the Clean Sweep event in Cal Anderson Park.

A team of professional stylists and barbers will take over the park shelter house to give free hair cuts, basic stylings, and shampoos to anyone that stops by.

Income-qualified transit riders can enroll in  Orca Lift , a discounted transit pass program.

Community members will have access to low-level medical services and information from Country Doctor and a team of medical professionals.  Care packages assembled by Swedish Medical Center, Lifelong Aids Alliance, The Dental Shoppe and other local services providers will be available.

We want to thank our generous Community Care Day Sponsor, Sound Mental Health, volunteer services providers, and care package contributors!

June 24 Capitol Hill Pride Festival - Bite of Pride

This year, the historic organizers of the Saturday Pride Festival attempted to shift the date to two weeks earlier to give them a staging area for a Sunday march. We are happy to report that the event organizers are following the City's direction and hosting the Pride Festival on June 24th, the historic day of the festival, with commercial activity.  This means the restaurants, retailers and other businesses on Broadway will have access to booth space and/or sidewalk venues!   Broadway Avenue businesses interested in participating in Capitol Hill Pride Festival - Bite of Pride should  contact the organizers directly .
