Weekly Update - May 18, 2017
From the Principal's Desk

1st Communion: Over the past two weekends our 2nd grade students received their First Communion. A big thank you goes out to Ms. Kaczmarek who prepared them to receive Jesus in the Eucharist. At this past Wednesday's All School Mass, each first communicant came dressed in their first communion outfits. Ms. Kaczmarek and the 2nd graders led us through a beautiful communion meditation leading us to a better understanding of Christ's sacrifice for us.

Congratulations! You have received Jesus in the Eucharist.
3rd Row: Addison, Joshua, Tyler, Peyton, Starla and Luke
2nd Row: Vivienne, Maeve, Nola, JT, Nora, Will, Ava
Front Row: Amara, Luisa, Caden, Izzie, Lilian, Alex and Clare.

Be Our Guest Tea Party: One of the most beautiful events this year was our Tea Party. Little girls came dressed in beautiful gowns in anticipation of meeting Belle and the Beast. They enjoyed crafts, story time and bingo. Beauty and the Beast danced for us as other characters sang songs from the play. A meal of fruit, pastries, tea and juice was served by a group of our 5th and 6th grade students. Thank you Nikki Draine, Maggie Stack the many volunteers who made this event possible.

All School Family Picnic: The School Advisory Council (SAC) will be hosting our 1st Annual All School Family Picnic on Wednesday, May 31st at Lakefront Park. The picnic is open house style from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Bring your own picnic. The school will provide root beer floats. Let's enjoy being together one last time before summer break.
