The 2017 NYS Downtown Revitalization Program will be the topic of a public meeting to be held May 23, 2017 from 3pm-5pm at Memorial City Hall, 24 South Street in Auburn.

Re: 2017 Downtown Revitalization initiative
        Notice is hereby given that the City of Auburn has called a Public Meeting to be held on  the 23rd day of May, 2017 beginning at  3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. for the purpose of gathering public input on the City of Auburn’s 2017 Downtown Revitalization Initiative grant application.
        This Public Meeting will be held at the Council Chambers, Memorial City Hall, 24 South Street, Auburn, NY 13021.  The meeting will also be live streamed via the internet at www.AuburnNY.gov/Channel-A
        At this meeting City of Auburn staff will provide an overview of the New York State Downtown Revitalization program; review the City’s previous year’s application; and gather public input towards the 2017 program application.
        Now in its second year the Downtown Revitalization Initiative program is a major initiative introduced by Governor Cuomo which will invest $100 million in ten downtown communities throughout the state.  One community in each region of the State will be awarded a $10 million grant towards downtown revitalization projects.  Auburn is in the Central New York economic development region.

Dates: Saturday, Saturday, May 20th
Hours: 7am-11:30am
Location: City Landfill, 311 N. Division Street, Auburn.
These events are open to City of Auburn residents only. Proof of residence will be strictly enforced. You will be asked to show photo ID and vehicle registration as proof of residence.
