PRE-RACE PREVIEW:  Zack St. Onge
Orange Show Speedway - Saturday, May 20, 2017

Driver:  Zack St. Onge
Car#  9
Track:  Orange Show Speedway, San Bernadino, CA
Track Description:  1/4-mile oval  Opened in 1947
Race Date:  Saturday, May 20th

Last Race Recap:   Zack finished third in his late model, running laps faster than the two leaders but just couldn't race with them due to a loose-handling car.

Big Race This Weekend:   With the K&N Pro Series West as the featured division on Saturday, the night's action takes on a bit more significance for those in the late model division hoping to make the step up to K&N Pro Series West in the future.

From The Driver's Side:  "I'm not approaching this weekend's race any differently than any other weekend. We come to the track each week to win and that's what we're going to do on Saturday. Having the K&N Pro Series race there definitely makes the night a little more special for us, but if you let that get to you and try too hard you'll make a mistake. We're very close to our first Orange Show win. We've gone from too tight one week to too lose the next week but we feel like we're close to the right setup for us. We're anxious to get to the track and get after it."

About Zack St. Onge / Team Zack Attack Racing

Zack St. Onge, a 15-year-old Upland, California native, rose to prominence on the West Coast last year with his championship run in the Southwest Tour Truck Series competing with Team Zack Attack Racing.

Though he only ran 10 of the series' 11 races, he finished no worse than third all season, and stormed to the title with five consecutive victories to close out the year.

Successful in Quarter Midgets and Bandoleros with multiple wins, Zack advanced to full-size racing machines, running with the Southwest Tour Truck Series for 2015 at just 13 years of age.

Though he was too young at that time to run the NASCAR-sanctioned tracks on the calendar, he won the series' Rookie of the Year Honors and finished sixth in points.

Then, in 2016, the then 14-year-old won the championship, serving notice that his skill set and maturity belie his age.

Zack also made his debut in a late model at San Bernardino, California's Orange Show Speedway and finished seventh in the standings there.

The personable young racer is planning to make a run at the Orange Show Speedway super late model division title this season and compete in as many other races with the super late model as he can.
