They lost a tough one at Mullen last Friday and are looking forward to a stretch of seven straight home games. Freshmen Taylor Hernandez, Holly Schlagel, and Trinity Grambusch have seen some varsity action this year and the future looks bright. Cheer The cheers continue to lead the Buff fans. You can see them creating excitement for the next month as they prepare for nationals in Orlando in February. The young squad continues to improve each day. ACCESS TESTING:
During the months of January and February, students who receive ELA services at SHHS will be completing the ACCESS test. It is important that students taking ACCESS attend all classes during the testing window. We are developing a schedule that will minimize the amount of time that students will miss class to complete ACCESS. However, some students may be pulled from their class in order to complete the required assessment. If your child is pulled from class, their attendance will reflect a "J" indicating they were testing.

Please support your child in their effort to complete any work they may miss during the testing process.

What is ACCESS- the ACCESS is a secure large-scale English language proficiency assessments administered to Kindergarten through 12th grade students who have been identified as English language learners (ELLs). The assessment is given annually to monitor students' progress in acquiring academic English.

If you have questions, please call 720-886-5448.
