EDC Warren County hosted a special topic planning forum today with an audience of over 35 interested municipal officials, planning board members, consultants and others that have interest in the NY State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR). Specifically, the interactive session featured four expert presenters with extensive experience concerning SEQR (State Environmental Quality Review Act) that outlined proposed amendments to SEQR designed to streamline the process without altering the original environmental review intention.

NYS DEC is seeking comments on the proposed amendments and is accepting written or verbal input up until 5pm on May 19, 2017.  Written comments may be submitted to NYSDEC Divison of Permits, 625 Broadway Albany NY 12233-1750. Email may be submitted to SEQRA617@dec.ny.gov
