It was really a cool spectacle to watch the balloons rise and silently fly by overhead as riders in the Civic Center parking lot got ready for their rides. Ride organizers have announced that the balloons are coming back again. Register before May 15th and save $$$.

NEW DATE - July 22

The Collin Classic moved south to Plano in 2016 and in 2017 the Collin Classic got new parents - The Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County. Due to some logistics challenges and their desire to put on a great event, the decision was made to move the event date to July 22. This dates makes it possible for riders to enjoy the routes of 2016, which were not available for June dates. Since organizers realize that it is hotter in July, the event will start at 7am. All routes start and finish at Oak Point Park. Music and refreshments plus a variety of food choices will be waiting for all the cyclists at the finish line. Visit the event website to check out the details and register for the ride.

It's Time to Ride!

How much time do you have? Use it! Don't wait until you have lots of time to ride. If you are tired, or stressed out, just get out there. A little ride, even just 15 minutes, can make a big difference in the way you feel. I know many times when I have a ride scheduled, I get to the appointed time and don't "feel like riding". Still, every time I get in the saddle and ride, when I get finished, I ALWAYS feel better. So, don't wait any longer. Just get out there and ride. It's time!

Ride on!
