Scout News: May 25 
Family Camp: This weekend more than 250 people will spend the weekend enjoying games, leather work, shooting sports, archery, and more! Look for photos next week.  

June & July - Cub Scout Day Camp comes to Lakewood and Long Beach in just a few weeks! Easy registration online, a week-long camp for Cub Scouts ages 6-10. Includes science, wood working, sports, crafts & more.

Saturday, 5/27 at 7am - All Scouts are invited to place flags on veteran's graves at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Donuts and milk provided before 7am opening ceremony hosted by the Disabled American Veterans. Plan to arrive early and bring a screwdriver to make small holes.

Extend the fun of Cub Scouting into the year's hottest season by earning the National Summertime Pack Award. Hold one activity per month in June, July and August. Streamers, certificates, and pins available. 

Summer camp is a few months away, which means now is the time to get your annual physicals completed. What forms are required? Read up here.  

Aquatics Camp starts in five weeks! Click for merit badge classes. Eight weeks of camp starting June 26 at the Long Beach Sea Base. Fun on the water includes water skiing, paddleboarding, fly fishing, and kayaking.


August 18-20 - All current 3rd and 4th graders are invited to Webelos Weekend... the most popular event for incoming Webelos I and II. Earn these achievements. Sells out every year! Registration coming soon.    

June 10 - With summer fast approaching, this course teaches proper aquatics supervision and water rescue techniques. See info here. Could be a lifesaver! Open to any adult leader or youth age 15+.
