Jordan Barrows (BS in Biochemistry & MCB, 2017) Having now graduated with degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology, I am headed to the east coast to pursue a Ph.D. in the Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology program at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I'd like to give a shout out CBC@UofA for supporting me and providing the opportunities that I needed to reach this goal in my life. I've been fortunate to have ended up as a part of this community, and I am very much looking forward to seeing where this experience will take me!

Joey DeGrandchamp (BS in Chemistry & Math, 2017) I initially enrolled at the U of A mostly because Tucson is my hometown, and it just seemed like the logical next step. My experience ended up being more fantastic than I could have ever hoped, largely thanks to the excellent faculty and staff of CBC. The program was rigorous, enjoyable, and ultimately prepared me for and facilitated my acceptance to many reputable Chemistry PhD programs. This includes the highly ranked program at UC Berkeley, where I will be in attendance this fall. Thank you so much, CBC!

Elise Munoz (BS in Biochemistry & MCB, 2017)  My experience at the U of A was incredible. With the unlimited opportunities available to me, I was able to make it my own - complete with a lot of science, camping, and Zonazoo. The CBC department, in particular, motivated and supported me to pursue my interest in scientific research. This fall, I will continue along that path and will be pursuing my PhD through the TETRAD program at the University of California-San Francisco. 

Ana Tellez Osuna (BS in Chemistry, 2017) The past four years at The University of Arizona were an experience I will never forget and will always cherish. In that time, I learned so much and made memories and friends that will last me a lifetime from dorming my first year, to library study "parties" with my friends or grabbing lunch at the Union. This summer I will be working as a metallurgical engineer at ASARCO and will start looking for a full time job as a formulation chemist once my internship is over. Even though it is a bittersweet feeling, I am very excited about my next steps in life.
