Students Show Their Knowledge of Books in " Battle of the Books"

HIGH SCHOOL

Our Torah Bowl team traveled to New York this week to compete in the Torah Bowl Championships.  After an undefeated season and dominating their division, they competed against the other division champions.  Our team displayed their vast Torah knowledge and skills throughout the entire intense competition and lost by only 2 points in overtime.

We are so proud of our Chess team for reaching the championship round in the league.  After an undefeated season, the team showed how much they have grown and developed over the year during this week's championship tournament.  We look forward to seeing what they do next!

Alumni Adina Lichtman (JKHA ''07/RKYHS '11) met up with the participants of the solidarity sleep out in NYC in front of the Bowery Mission to distribute socks and other articles of clothing that were collected to the homeless. The socks were donated to Adina's organization, " Knock Knock Give a Sock."
