IMPORTANT DATES

Saturday, January 13

Thursday, January 18

Abigail Johnson is working hard towards her Gold Award!

Abbey created a Community Service Fair at the Downingtown STEM Academy to connect students with area volunteer organizations. More than 200 STEM students signed up. In addition to the event, Abbey created a website that connects students with organizations looking for volunteers. The website has the flexibility to grow, adding more groups with volunteer opportunities.

Abbey was able to get permission from the Downingtown Area School District to allow Canine Partners for Life to bring in two of their certified dogs, which created a HUGE draw for their program. Abbey is also completing a "how to" manual to provide the Campus Life counselor at STEM, to make sure the program can continue on an annual basis.

SHARE THE GIRL SCOUT SPIRIT!

Girls from Senior Troop 84014
and Junior Troop 8373 from Bethlehem Township shopped for needy families last month. Girls then handed out their gifts to those less fortunate. The troops are led by Patty S, Chrissy H, and
Randi S.

Last month, girls from troops
based at Saint Elizabeth Parish went to the Coatesville Veterans Affairs Hospital to deliver some holiday cheer. The girls sang Christmas carols and delivered their collections holiday cards. Cadette Troop 41037, Junior Troop 4131, Brownie Troop 41014, and Daisy Troop 4131 were represented.

Braving freezing cold temperatures girls attended Winter Camp at Camp Mosey Wood over holiday break. They caught up with summer camp friends, and enjoyed wintertime campfires. It was so cold the lake was frozen!  Of course, this made for an amazing group shot.
Share your stories!

We love to share what our girls are doing around the council to make the world a better place. Send your photos and stories to  communications@gsep.org  and we will do our best to include your submissions in a future council communication.
Girl Scouts is a sisterhood of generations

Age is just a number here! Whether your last troop meeting was yesterday or a year ago, you're still part of the sisterhood that is 3.2 million strong. Join the fun with our  Alumnae Association . Give back by
volunteering  your time or  donating  to help ensure that future generations of girls will be able to experience Girl Scouts.
Spread the word!
