The Toledo Plan Commission is reviewing making significant updates to the Toledo Municipal Code regarding electronic signage, known as Electronic Message Centers. The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a members-only opportunity to hear from city officials concerning these proposed updates and provide recommendations and feedback.
Proposed changes include the following topic areas:
- Standards for required zoning
- Allowed number of signs
- Allowed sign type
- Dimensions
- Message movement and frequency
- Design elements
- Brightness
- Operation in residential areas
