To improve the pedestrian experience in our city, the City Commission appropriated $300,000 over two years to restripe crosswalks near schools, City facilities and churches. The state of Florida ranks as the most dangerous state for pedestrians in the United States and our region is the 10th most dangerous in the country. When driving, please remember to always stop for people in crosswalks.
