A morning out at the Arts &  Heritage Museum.

Lincoln loves getting spoiled by our residents!

Our residents enjoying our annual family Easter Egg hunt.

These beautiful and kind Brownies and Juniors came to plant flowers in one of our gated  courtyards.

Art therapy for our residents.  Everyone loves showing off their work and looking at each others' pieces.

Luau on the Lawn with our residents and family members.

We love her face when this resident sees one of her favorite employees (who happens to be our Associate of the Month)!

May 2017
Unfortunately as most of us are experiencing, dementia is an ugly disease that robs the minds of those living with it.
Oftentimes when you are least expecting it, this merciless disease creeps up and begins affecting lives.  Some days it is easy to spot the changes and challenges while other days they may be more subtle.

It is paramount during this trying experience that family members and loved ones reach out to those around them for support and encouragement.  I invite anyone experiencing the frustrations and tribulations of having a loved one with dementia to join a support group.  I believe that you will find relief and camaraderie with others in a similar situation.

Find a group that is convenient for you and allow yourself to open up to others- to realize that you are in a safe space, that you are not alone and that others care and want to relate with you.

Your loved one would want this for you!

Support Group

Join us on the THIRD THURSDAY of each month at 2:00 for Support Group!   We meet at The Alzheimer's Association, located at 106  SRP Drive, Evans, GA.

All family members or caregivers of someone with a dementia diagnosis are welcome to attend.  Don't forget to invite others who you think would benefit from additional support.
Friendly Reminders
  • We would appreciate your help in making sure that all important documents and bills are being sent to the responsible party, and not Madison Heights. We all work together to keep Madison Heights clean.
  • When you visit it would be appreciated it you would dispose of cigarette butts somewhere other than on the property grounds.

Medical Reminders
The Madison Heights vehicle will be available on Tuesdays  to help assist residents to medical appointments.

Please speak with Christen at least two weeks in advance if you would like to utilize this service to ensure that the vehicle is available during your requested appointment time.
Road Construction Update
Currently, the intersection of Washington Road and Knob Hill Farm Road is closed for road work.   We wanted you to be aware that we are staying updated on the progress of the road work.  To access Madison Heights you will need to turn onto William Few Parkway then turn left on Knob Hill Farm Road and follow the road to Madison Heights (see image below).

We look forward to the completion of this project and are excited that traffic will flow more freely after its completion.
