He will also share implications for the nonprofit sector and potential ideas for collaboration. The panelists invited are Executive Directors or Board Members who have led nonprofit organizations through a major merger/consolidation. The panel will discuss these areas.

  • What led to the decision to consolidate?
  • What has the experience been like?
  • How has it impacted your team & culture?
  • What are lessons learned?
  • Was consolidation the right decision?
  • Any advice to share for nonprofit organizations considering consolidation?

About the Executive Director Network:

Giving DuPage began a networking group dedicated to Nonprofit Executive Directors in 2013. We met often to share best practices and find solutions to our many challenges. The ED Network meets quarterly at a breakfast meeting, with a focus on leadership programming. The fourth quarter program is a social gathering in the evening.

This is an ED-exclusive invitation and a program free of nonprofit staff, board members or any granting bodies. This network is only open to Executive Directors, so we may share our stories, ideas, practices and concerns in a secure environment.
