Village Manager Chris McCall sent out a very informative update this evening on how BHI fared with this week's winter storm. Chris reviewed the road closings and the Village's efforts to clear the significant amount of debris created by the storm. Also included in the update is information on the weekend's ferry schedule from BHI Transportation.
Please join BHA in expressing tremendous gratitude to the Public Safety personnel who have worked tirelessly over the past few days and the Public Works and Utilities staff who still have many hard days of work ahead of them.

January's Card Class Rescheduled
This month's card-making class has been rescheduled from Jan. 3rd to Tuesday, Jan. 9th. CLICK HERE for details.

Deadline for Smith Island Social Reservations - 1/13/18
Just a quick reminder that the deadline to make reservations for the Smith Island Social is Saturday, Jan. 13th. The Social itself is on Saturday, Jan. 27th at 6pm. The cost is $50/person and the event is open to all property owners and their guests. Have your Club card number available when making your reservation or your credit card number if not a BHI Club member. Call 910-457-7300. CLICK HERE for details.

3rd Monday Potluck
Monday, Jan. 15th

*Note the start time is 5:30pm instead of the usual 6pm.
The January Potluck dinner will be held on Monday, Jan. 15th from 5:30pm - 8:30pm at the Association Center. The Potluck Dinner will take a different route this month with a cooking demonstration before the meal. Stephen Naysnerski will present "Cooking Under Pressure" at 5:30 pm.
Following the presentation, dinner will start at 6:30 pm. Feel free to come to the demonstration and dinner or just to the dinner. Please bring a dish to share and your favorite beverage. For more information, please contact FA McLeod at [email protected].

Village Chapel
Friends of Music Concert
Friday, Jan. 12th at 7:30pm
Village Chapel
The first Friends of Music concert of the new year will take place on Friday, Jan. 12th at 7:30pm at the Village Chapel. The featured artist is cellist Keiran Campbell, accompanied by Sarah Barham on the piano.
Keiran is a recent graduate from the Juilliard School and produces the most exquisite sounds on the cello, while Sarah is a masters degree student at The University of Maryland and a spectacular young talent.
Join your friends for this special presentation, and as always, the Friends of Music concerts are free and open to the public, thanks to the generosity of Friends of Music members.
