ANNOUNCEMENTS

Attention, committee chairs... This is your final reminder that your annual reports are due tomorrow, Friday, May 19 at 9 am sharp.  If you don't submit your report by that time, you will be responsible for distributing it yourself.  Please email your completed report to  Hope.

May 21 is Youth Sunday! The senior youth will be participating in the service, which will include the annual bridging ceremony.

The Outreach Sunday collection this weekend will benefit the Pembroke Soup Connection - Firehouse Pantry.  Besides financial support, they have a need for the following: mayonnaise, jarred spaghetti sauce, cooking oil, sugar, flour and canned ground coffee.

RE needs teachers!  Our church year is almost over, and we need Sunday School teachers for the 2017-2018 church year. It’s always a blast, and a great way to connect with the FPN community. See Julian Baptista to volunteer!

Lonestar Pyrs and Paws-New England (recipient of the Outreach Sunday donation for April) is now a new all-breed rescue called “Wags and Wiggles Rescue”.  This group works to help all breeds instead of just Great Pyrenees dogs. If anyone wants to adopt or foster a rescue dog or support this “new” rescue, please click here to  view the newly-created Facebook page for Wags and Wiggles Rescue.

The CASTLE (Clean And Sober Teens Living Empowered) is a short-term treatment center in Brockton committed to the prevention, treatment, and abstinence of drug and alcohol use in adolescents aged 13-17.  Please check the bulletin board outside the Parish Hall to see the lovely thank you notes from both the program director and several of the clients! To learn more about the CASTLE, please click  here.   Our Christmas Eve collection traditionally is used to benefit people in need in the community.  The 2016 collection was split between the Minister's Emergency Fund and the CASTLE.
