Today's Announcements      

  • 2017-2018 Show Choir auditions are coming up this month! Rock Bridge City Lights and Satin n' Lace compete throughout Missouri and nationally, consistently bringing home championship trophies. Audition material is now available in the RBHS Choir Room. An Audition Meeting and choreography session will take place on May 22nd at 6:30pm.  Audition workshop will be May 23rd at  4:30pm and the auditions will be May 24th at 4:30 and May 25th at 2:00pm.  See Mr. Pierson (RB choir room, 573-214-3147) for more details.

 
  • Freshmen, sophomore, and junior students- the 2017 COLLEGE AND CAREER VILLAGE (CCV) will be held in October and we need your feedback to make it great!  Please take a minute to complete this brief survey (HERE  ) letting us know which careers/career areas and college majors you would like to learn more about this fall : ) 
    .
  • Boys' Soccer will be holding workouts and open fields, as well as various camps, all throughout the summer.  Anyone interested in playing soccer next year should see Coach Wittenborn in Room 206-207 as soon as possible to receive a summer calendar and camp forms!

  • The Senior All Night Party will be held Saturday, May 20th, from 11:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. at the Hearnes Center Fieldhouse.  WE NEED PARENT VOLUNTEERS to make this the best celebration for our seniors!
 
There are two shifts available to work that night, or you can work all night.  10:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m., or 1:30 - 5:00 a.m.  Volunteers are also needed the week before the party.

  • The stadium will remain an active construction site throughout the Summer.  Students and staff must avoid parking along the West side of the South lot.  You don't want to mix your cars in with construction trailers and materials.
  As early as Spring break, the front circle drive will be closed to all    but bus traffic.  Students who ride buses will need to enter/exit  through the East Studies or the Fine Arts 400s hall for the remainder  of the school year. The north side of the building will become our main entrance. As with any construction site, follow signs and  don't cross or move and fences or barriers. 

  • Parking permits are $5 for May .  



  •   Any vehicle a student parks at RBHS or CACC must be registered. If  your vehicle is not registered, you need to see Darryl Heaton. 

  • Interested in AVID for next year?  Pick up an application from the Counseling Office and return when completed.

Guidance Announcements
  • Come help us celebrate our children/teens while raising mental health awareness at the Heroes of Hope Children's Mental Health Awareness Day @ Stephens Lake Park in the Gordon and Collins Shelters on Thursday, 6 /1/2017 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. The event includes: food; face paint; activities; photo booth, information and lots more. 
      
  • Camp MAGIC
    is a one-day grief retreat form children and teens ages 6-18 who have experienced the death of a loved one. The retreat is on Saturday, June 3rd from 9 am-4 pm in Jefferson City (5840 Rainbow Drive-Binder Park Pavilion). It will help students identify and express their grief through a variety of activities including making memory boxes, readings, releasing butterflied, and more. It's free of charge. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend with their student. Lesley Thalhuber in the Counseling Office has applications if you are interested.

  • JUNIORS - The Better Business Bureau Student of Ethics Award 
    recognizes a high school student who personifies high ethics demonstrated through leadership, community service, overall personal integrity and academic history. The award will be a $2,500 scholarship that can be applied to your college, university, or career/technical school of choice!  For more information and to apply visit:

    • Sophomores & Juniors - The 2017 Audrey Walton Youth Leadership Conference Sponsored by the Show-Me State Games will be held July 20-22 on the University of Missouri campus.  During the 3-day conference, you will engage in several activities that will encourage you to step up and be a leaders amongst your peers.  All students will participate in both indoor and outdoor team activities.  You will attend a luncheon as well as a dinner banquet where you will have the opportunity to listen to some of the state's outstanding leaders.  For more information and to apply, visit the RB Guidance Summer Enrichment Programs webpage:

    • Seniors, Please see Mrs. Davis in the counseling office to request your final transcript.  Schools require the final  transcript with ALL your grades including the last semester even if you have already been accepted.  There is no fee for one final transcript sent to your college or university.
