Dear Friends of Crayons to Computers,

This is always a bittersweet time of year for us at Crayons to Computers. The month of May marks the end of another school year, and the closing of our Teacher Free Store and Mobile Program. We will miss serving you, your students and your schools, as well as seeing all of you each day. But, this time of year also creates excitement for us as we get busy planning for the coming school year.

There are still so many great products available for your end-of-year shopping needs. We hope to see many of you over the course of the next few weeks and hope that you will use up those shopping days.

Don't forget to keep up with us on Facebook - right now we are announcing the daily giveaways for Teacher Appreciation Week and you won't want to miss out.

Happy May!

Susan Frankel
President & CEO

Teacher Spotlight - #4
Ms. Ronnda Cargile
In honor of our 20th Anniversary celebration in 2017 we will be sharing our Top 20 Teacher Spotlights throughout the year. If you have stories to share please forward them on to Stephen Bernstein at Crayons to Computers.

Ronnda Cargile is the Innovation Lab Director at Hughes STEM High School, leading the charge to educate students on various topics that may include topics like poverty, homelessness and child trafficking.  The group participates in school projects and hosts guest speakers to learn ore.  Recently the group sponsored an Assemble Party after school to create "Care Kits," filled with various hygiene items, snacks and inspirational cards. These kits were then delivered to local organizations (Mary Magdalen House and the Anna Louise Inn) that provide help to the needy and homeless.

Ms. Cargile wanted to engage her students even further in engaging in their community by partnering with Crayons to Computers on our My Wish For You Campaign.

Ms. Cargile has now made it her mission to get as many of the My Wish For You cards filled out by staff and students at Hughes STEM High School as she can. With hundreds of students in the school, she wants to make a big impact on the kids in need in our community.

Thank you to Ms. Cargile for her dedication and passion for her students, her school and her community!
