FCBD is the world's largest comic book related event, happening in more than 2300 comic book specialty shops in more than 60 countries---  and it all started right here at Flying Colors!

All day long on Saturday May 6, we'll be giving away thousands of special edition FCBD comics for free!There are FCBD comics for young readers as well as adult readers, for those who are totally new to comics and for those who are total comics fans!

If you've been to one of our FCBD events, you know what a party it is! So please, if you will, bring your friends to introduce them to comics and to Flying Colors!

MORE! Flying Colors will be having a very rare SALE with specials so enticing, we're waiting until the big day to announce them! The sale will run both on Saturday May 6 and Sunday May 7.

MORE! We're pleased to welcome artist Matt Harding ( Pop Apocalypse) to Flying Colors on FCBD. Matt will do 10 minute sketches for $10 each (limit one per family) on a blank comic book cover we'll provide--- with 100% of the proceeds going to the Hero Initiative, a great charity that creates a financial safety net for comic creators needing emergency medical aid and financial support for essentials of life.

Get here early to book your sketch because Matt's time will be limited and these sketches will be very limited!

MORE! On Free Comic Book Day, we will be announcing more Special Events, so be here to get the scoop first! 

MORE! We'll have some prizes to give away. We have a Kids Costume Contest for kids 12 and under. All Kinds Costume Contest photos will be taken in the same spot in front of Flying Colors, near our Captain Four Color life-size stand-up.  You're also likely to see some cool cosplayers here, so be sure to bring your camera/phone to get some great pix!

MORE! We are happy to welcome back our official FCBD photographer, Oscar Benjamin! Look for FCBD photo highlights on our Facebook page after the event.
In addition, we are planning to have a drone photographer here, too.We're hoping to get some aerial video of FCBD, including a BIG WAVE from everyone in line. Make a sign, wear a costume--- and smile big when you locate the drone!

MORE! There will be refreshments, including Libby's nearly world famous HULK SMAS H brownies, custom cakes from Alpine Bakery... and more!
