Summer Camp 2017!!!
Dear Parent,
Summer is right around the corner and you are probably thinking about appropriate meaningful activities for your child. Full S.T.E.A.M Ahead
is an exciting
Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math
summer camp . Our camps are suitable for children who are (in rising K) 5 years thru 12 years of age and starts on May 30th and ends on Aug 2nd.
Full Day Camp
is an all day weekly (M-F) camp and includes
Sports, S.T.E.A.M Enrichment Programs, Water Carnivals, Art, Summer Reading, Talent Shows, Breakfast, Lunch & Snacks.
Part Time Camp
this is a camp for those looking for only 3 Full days/week.

Field Trips
are charged separately and not included in the camp fee.

Silly Sports Week |
May 30th - June 2nd
Have you ever played tic-tac-toe as a group or badminton with balloons ? Does Launching water balloons at a target sound fun ? We are putting a different spin on some of our favorite sports.

The Great Outdoors Week |
Jun 5th - Jun 9th Discover the great outdoor! Building our own "Solar Oven" to cook smores using energy from the sun, learning survival skills for the great outdoors and growing our own plants are just some of the activities.

Robotics and Coding Week |
Jun 12th - Jun 16th Do you love to build and create machinery? What if you could discover a way to program a robot or a software application? Scratch Jr and Hopscotch are just some of the apps we will utilize to explore!

Mad Scientist Week |
Jun 19th - Jun 23rd Get your lab coat and safety goggles because MythBusters has nothing on us! How about this: Have you ever wondered what would happen if you filled a balloon with pop rocks and then placed the balloon on the top of a two liter Coke ? This camp will put all of your abilities to predict, examine, and explain to the test. Field Trips: Tellus Museum |
All About The Apps ! Week |
Jun 26th - Jun 30th We are all about the Apps! Angry Birds, Plants vs. Zombies, Minecraft, Slither.io, Subway Surfers etc. are some of the apps we are going to use. We are going to discover how these apps are teaching us academic skills and we did not know it !

DIY and Creativity Run Wild Week |
Jul 3rd - Jul 7th Are you ready to explore your creative side? You will discover new painting techniques that will help you design your own cup, plate or tile at Splatters. Do it yourself (DIY) projects, creating your own journal and exploring how to make "invisible ink" will be just a few of the projects you will be involved in on this creative journey! Detective and Mystery Week |
Jul 10th - Jul 14th Do you have what it takes to be a super sleuth? What do detectives do anyway? We are going to put on our thinking caps and solve our own mystery! Field Trips: Consolidated Gold Mine |
S.T.E.A.M Video Contest, 2 Weeks |
Jul 17th - Jul 28th In this two weeks camp, groups of children will be researching, scripting, acting, shooting, editing and producing video about a S.T.E.A.M concept or solution. A panel of judges will review and award prizes to the participants. Are you up to this challenge ?

American Idol Week |
Jul 31st - Aug 2nd Are you ready to just relax and enjoy? Let's get together and play some of our old favorite board games and discover some new ones. You will also get to show us some of your talents by participating in "Ivy League's American Idol". Yes, there will prizes and medals. Field Trips: None this week, back to school. |
Water Carnival, Movies & Popcorn, Ice Cream |
Water Carnival
We are planning on having water carnivals on Monday,
 Wednesdays and Fridays, assuming we are open or not going on a field trip. Water carnival is a water based activity, including water fountains and sprinklers.
Movies & Popcorn
Every Thursday we will be watching a movie that is
 associated with the enrichment program of the week.
Ice Cream Day
On Fridays children will enjoy ice cream, slushes or ice cones.
