Since high school,
Jennie knew that she wanted to integrate the arts and therapy in her life work.
As an artist and therapist, she has evolved her work into an integrated model of
Expressive Arts, Energy work, Reiki
and
Healing
.
Jennie is a teacher, at Lesley University and internationally, since 2003. Jennie is a professional artist specializing in printmaking. And, she offers Playback Theater workshops.
She is also a practicing Buddhist, and a Jew raised in the shadows of the Holocaust.

OPEN PSYCHODRAMA SESSIONS
Next Open Session: January 19th, 2018
The Psychodrama OPEN SESSION is instructional, experiential and low key - a great way to experience the greatness of Psychodrama within a safe setting. Though therapeutic value is often felt from the experience, Open Sessions are not psychotherapy sessions and the director is not present in the role of psychotherapist. The purpose of the Open Session is for participants to experience the Psychodramatic method as an introduction. All experience levels are welcome.
Held at The Arlington Center at 369 Mass Ave, Arlington, MA, 02474, 781 316 0282 from 7:30 to 9:45 p.m. Cost is $15.00 at the door by cash or check made out to the Arlington Center.

True Story Theater performs and teaches a style of improvisation theater called Playback Theatre in which audience or group members tell stories from their lives and watch them enacted on the spot. By inviting people to share their stories and transforming them spontaneously into theater, True Story Theater mission promotes social healing. Their events create a respectful atmosphere where every voice can be heard and any story told - however ordinary or extraordinary, difficult or joyful.

OMEGA THEATER OFFERING #1:
DRAMA THERAPY AND PSYCHODRAMA FOR SPECIAL POPULATIONS
Date: January 12-15, 2018
The purpose of this course is to learn the therapeutic uses of drama as applied to the differing needs of special populations. Students will learn in depth about the developmental and clinical psychological needs of a range of populations and how to adapt drama therapy techniques to their treatment. This course teaches the application of the full range of drama therapy modalities including psychodrama and transformational theater techniques to a wide variety of populations with the intention that students learn to become skilled in working therapeutically with a variety of different populations and situations professionally.
This course is taught by a faculty of many experienced drama therapist and psychodramatists who have worked with the populations about which they are teaching.
