Centers of Excellence Launches New Resource Center

The AC Forum's Centers of Excellence has launched a new resource library with a robust search tool and dynamic interface for use on a variety of devices. The 350 resources on the site are now organized with intuitive headings and subheads, making the information scannable and more accessible. The resource center also highlights current practices that have achieved recognition as a Center of Excellence. Visit the new resource at the Centers of Excellence website.

Created in 2012, the AC Forum's Anticoagulation Centers of Excellence program helps healthcare professionals provide the highest level of care to their patients on antithrombotic medication. In addition to the resource center, this free program offers a practice self-assessment with specific guidelines and recommendations for best practice. More information is available at excellence.acforum.org.

May Webinar: Rivaroxaban or Aspirin for
Extended Treatment of VTE

Tuesday, May 23, 1:00 - 2:00 ET

Many patients with VTE require extended treatment, but it's uncertain whether it's more effective to use full- or lower-intensity anticoagulants or aspirin. Join us as we talk with Dr. Jeff Weitz, the lead researcher of a study which looked at two doses of rivaroxaban and aspirin for extended treatment of VTE.

Our webinars are free and open to all medical professionals. Advance registration is required.

An engaging discussion around quality improvement, new agents and special situations will benefit all practitioners, and daily "chalk talks" will allow for attendee participation to shape the topics. The boot camp model will have a limited enrollment in order to provide ample time for Q&A and personal interaction with our expert faculty.

Registration details will be coming soon, or visit acforumbootcamp.org.
