THSNA is offering financial awards for students to spend a week training with a research mentor anywhere in the US, Canada or Mexico. The awards, up to $2500 per mentee, will fall into the categories of nursing; laboratory technologist; pharmacist; PhD researcher; physician investigator, clinic, translational or basic; or patient advocate. The structure of the one-week experience will be determined jointly by the mentee and mentor, but is expected to include clinical and/or laboratory experiences (where applicable); attendance at relevant meetings and conferences; and meetings with the mentor to discuss potential future collaborations.

Applicants must be a member of one of THSNA's 16 partner organizations, be within 7 years of completing all formal training, and be committed to the field of hemostasis or thrombosis.

Our biennial conference serves as an important forum for providers to share best practices and discuss the latest research, and this year's meeting was no different.
