J ohn Onderdonk (MESM '03) | Chair, Bren Alumni Advisory Council
Dear Fellow Bren Alumni,

Congratulations! You are a member of a unique group of leaders who inherently believe the future is brighter than the past and that we have a hand in shaping it. We see opportunity where others see crisis. We thrive in complexity, think in systems, and seek viable solutions. We are motivated, clear-eyed, and entrepreneurial. We are proud to be Bren Alumni.

While membership in this alumni community does have its privileg es,  I think we can all agree, our capacity to turn potential into reality increases as access to the Bren community improves.

At the alumni reunion and during the period since, the Bren Alumni Advisory Council (BAAC) has heard from many of you who have asked for a better way to connect with the alumni community to recruit, collaborate, and network. We have also come to better understand the challenges Bren staff face in keeping alumni informed, enhancing career services, and engaging our community in supporting Bren.

The BAAC has been working diligently with Bren staff to deliver a solution, and we are excited to announce  a new initiative to launch a user-friendly, Salesforce-powered, LinkedIn-enabled online community called Bren Connect.

We believe the new Bren Connect is the needed foundation to help build a strong alumni base that is fundamental to a vibrant Bren School and to the future of our professional careers.

Stay tuned for more information with details on Bren Connect. I am excited to have you join us in investing in the build-out of Bren Connect.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Sincerely,

John Onderdonk
