Teachers, don't forget to sign your contract during the break!

TODAY , all teacher-type employees (e.g., teacher, librarian or guidance counselor) will receive an email from "No Reply SCSK12" outlining how to access and electronically sign their 2017-18 school year contract. Teachers will have until  January 16, 2018  to review and electronically sign. It is not necessary to be at school or an SCS office location to access the contract.

2017-18 School Year Hires do not need to sign a contract at this time because contracts were signed as part of the new hire paperwork earlier this school year.

Please contact the Employee CONNECT team at 416-5304 or http://www.scsk12.org/askhr/   for questions or concerns.

Now that winter break is here ( almost! ), that means you have plenty of time to nominate your favorite SCS alum for the 2018 SCS Alumni Hall of Fame! Help us identify notable alumi to honor at the Hall of Fame gala on March 24 . Last year's gala honored the Bar-Kays, State Representative Johnnie Turner, community activist "Shep" Wilbun and championship-winning basketball coach Keelon Lawson. We're counting on your nominations again this year to identify our best and brightest. Hurry! The deadline for nominations is January 2 .
Lights out before you leave!

Winter break is the perfect opportunity to conserve energy. Before you leave for the break, please help us by doing the following:

  • Last Out Lights Out! Please turn off classroom, office and room lights before leaving for the break.
  • Turn off projectors. This saves energy and preserves bulbs.
  • Put your computers to sleep.

If you have questions regarding how to conserve energy at school or home, contact Tracy Leaks, Green Schools Project Leader, at leaksta@scsk12.org or 416-4118.
