MEET CHAMBER AMBASSDOR EDITH PAIR
Edith joined our Ambassador program in January of 2016.  "I was honored to be asked to be on the Ambassador committee and couldn't be more proud to be a part of representing Charlevoix."

"What I love most about being an Ambassador is the interaction with the local business owners and employees.  Being an Ambassador fulfills the need to give back by volunteering my time for such a great organization.  The Ambassadors are able to support the Chamber's need to make all the great events they sponsor run smoothly.  We are also able to help with networking events & make the businesses in Charlevoix feel like we are on the same team and have each other's back."

"I grew up in Charlevoix, but have lived elsewhere, and able to travel around the world at one point.  Each time I left, I felt like a piece of me was missing so..being able to support this small but mighty town gives me a great sense of pride.  Charlevoix will always be the most beautiful town I have ever been in and I am honored and blessed to live here and be a part of making visitors and locals happy and comfortable.

CHARLEVOIX PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB PRESENTS: IMAGES OF YOSEMITE
Date:  Tuesday, June 6
Place:  Charlevoix Public Library-Community Rm
Time:  6:30pm
Presented by:  Mike Schlitt

In late October, the Charlevoix Photography Club coordinated a photo-shoot with Yosemite National Park and hired a local guide to take them to some of the same locations where Ansel Adams recorded his iconic images.  Twelve photographic artists from both the Charlaevoix and Petoskey Photography Clubs attended this event in an attempt to mirror the images of the master Ansel Adams.  The weather was ideal and this group of exceptional photographers recorded many outstanding images of this magical park.  It would be unfortunate not to share these works of art with the public.
