Confirmation Program Retreat : Final Preparation Notice

All Information Applies to Confirmation Candidates 
in Public and Catholic School
Attendance is a Mandatory Requirement for the Sacrament

Arrival Times
 Small Group Leaders: 2 - 2:30 pm
Confirmation Candidates: 2:30 - 2:55 pm

Arrival Location: Lower Church Hall

Transportation: It is highly suggested that families consider car pooling their Confirmation Candidates. This will make the pick-up process proceed faster, smoother and safer.

Arrival Instructions All Confirmation Candidates will be receiving a color code name tag upon arrival in the Lower Church Hall. 
 
Red designated for: 
Confirmation 1 Fall Session Groups 1 - 18.
 
Blue designated for: 
Confirmation 1 Fall Session Groups 19 - 20 
Confirmation 1 Spring Session, All Groups
Confirmation 1 Catholic School Students 
Confirmation 2 Make-Up for Public and Catholic School Students 

This name tag shall be displayed on an outside article of clothing throughout the Retreat. It must be returned at the end of the Retreat.

Red  name tags will be seated on the right side of the Lower Chapel, Blue name tags on the left side.

Mobile/Smart Phones: All phones will be powered off between the hours of 2:30 - 8:30 pm.

Dismissal Times
Blue Group Confirmation Candidates: 
8:30 - 8:45 pm
Red Group Confirmation Candidates: 8:45 - 9:00 pm
Small Group Leaders: 9 - 9:15 pm

Pick-Up Instructions: Please do not arrive earlier then your Confirmation Candidate's dismissal time. This will reduce the expected congestion of vehicles.  

Dismissal Location:  Charter School Parking Lot

In the event of an unavoidable absence, please contact the Confirmation Director to be enrolled in the Confirmation 1 Retreat scheduled for next May 2018.

Other Important Retreat Information

Celebration of the Holy Mass
: Confirmation Candidates will be attending the celebration of the Holy Mass between 5 - 5:45 pm. In particular,  
  1. Candidates' reverence and respect during the celebration of Holy Mass is essential. No gum, drinks, and talking.
  2. Candidates will be placed in every other pew on both sides of the center of the Upper Church. This will allow for families and other parishioners to join in the celebration.
Dinner: Dinner will be provided (deli sandwiches, chips, cookies, brownies, etc.) between 6 - 7 pm. 
An email was sent out to remind parents to make Karen (508-528-1450) aware if your child has any sort of food allergies, celiac disease, etc.
