A workshop at the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum is a great way to get hands-on experience with history.

Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum, Washington House Museum and Historical Farm Museum
The Two Rivers Historical Society is a local group of community members who are dedicated to preserving the unique history of the city.
The society owns and operates three unique museums: Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum, Washington House Museum and the Historical Farm Museum (currently closed for the winter season) plus the Lester W. Bentley Art Collection, housed at Lester Public Library.
The Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum strives to retain members, attract new members, grow retail sales and increase workshop attendance.
Workshops in letterpress printing and bookmaking are offered at intervals throughout the year with consideration given to new events that are intended to attract local residents who may not have experienced the museum.
For example, on Feb. 9, 2018, a two-hour "Drink and Ink Letterpress Workshop" is planned for adults who want to experience letterpress printing on a small scale. Attendees are invited to bring their own adult beverage to enjoy during the workshop, which will feature an opportunity to print a small, self-designed poster they will keep.

 Atrium Post Acute Care of Two Rivers (formerly Hamilton Home) hosted a Ribbon Cutting & Open House on Thursday to celebrate the opening of their new Hospice Suites and dedicated Rehabilitation Unit.
The facility is located at 1 Hamilton Dr., Two Rivers.
