The white outermost layer of the tooth is the enamel. It forms a strong barrier that shields the inner layers of your teeth from the effects of acids and plaque. It also protects the sensitive inner layers of your teeth from foods and drinks that are very hot or very cold. When the enamel becomes thin, it does not perform its shielding function quite as well, resulting in sensitive teeth.

Dedicated Staff Members Raising Funds for Charity

Joan McCaffrey and Karen Clark

Joan McCaffrey and her husband Tom will embark on a 100 mile "Answer to Cancer" ride to raise funds for the Cancer Research Institute to support their  general research and the promising new field of Immunotherapy. The McCaffrey's invite anyone to participate in raising funds in memory of their daughter Ellen, and other loved ones who have been affected by this terrible disease. Karen Clark, Dental Assistant to Dr. Schaible, will be participating in the Relay for Life to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. The event is a 13.1 mile run in Phillipsburg, NJ on May 20th. Pledges can be made in either lump sum, mile, or lap increments. To pledge,  please click here. Custom Sports Mouthguard Clinic A Success

Protect those teeth and jaws! Our recent Sports 

Mouthguard  Clinic was a success! We conducted this clinic to provide FREE custom made sports mouthguards.  "Time and time again, across all sports, we see trauma to the front permanent teeth and would like to save patient from suffering with  this type of injury,"  said Dr. O'Grodnick. Our next Clinic will be  in the Fall. Stay tuned!
