Updates from Mission Valley ROP's
Law Enforcement Class

Thank you for your continued support as an advisory member for Mission Valley ROP's Law Enforcement class. Jay Crawford wants to stay connected with you and looks forward to upcoming collaborations in the near future.
Alameda County  Coroner's Office

Law Enforcement students have been extremely active this year. In October, the class visited the Alameda County Coroner's Office and was given a guided tour by Sgt. Wilson.

The field trip was educational and memorable for all. Mission Valley ROP thanks the Alameda County Coroner's Office and Sgt. Wilson for taking the time to allow our Law Enforcement students to have the opportunity and unique experience.
Special Events

Law Enforcement, Fire Tech, and EMR students represented their classes this year at the 2nd Annual Glenmoor Gardens Oktoberfest and Chili Cook-Off at Meyer Park in Fremont. Students were excited about showing off the  fire engine and ROP police car and had the opportunity to promote their classes to the community participants which drew a crowd of over 500 attendees.

In addition, Law Enforcement students provided fingerprinting services for children so parents can keep for their home records, in case of future missing persons events which parents were very appreciative to have done.

Special Events

Public Services classes, including Law Enforcement, were wowed by a visit from East Bay Regional Park when they literally  dropped  in for a visit in October.   Officer  Ernie Haga and Joe Quiggle  landed their helicopter and gave the crowd of students an opportunity to checkout the helicopter, ask questions, and hear about the job responsibilities and tasks of Park Police.

The event was definitely one the students will never forget and on behalf of Jay Crawford and Mission Valley ROP, thank you East Bay Regional Park and
Officer  Ernie Haga and Joe Quiggle  for a memorable event.

Get involved by hosting a field trip or come in the classroom and be a guest speaker.
