2013 is considered a microclimatic perfect vintage!!
We would like to mention a Cabernet which we tasted and ordered last month and which arrived yesterday, 2013 Trinite Estate Acaibo, Sonoma Mountain. Claire Lurton who is pictured below, is the proprietor of Chateau Dufort Vivens and Haut Bages Liberal, both classified growth Bordeaux vineyards. Acaibo is their first California venture. They purchased a prized old vine vineyard at the top of the hill in Sonoma and are producing a 56 percent Cabernet, 34 percent Merlot,10 percent Cab Franc which is quickly becoming highly sought after. There is both b lack and red fruit, complex flowers and spice and an extremely elegant structure. This wine is both vibrant and powerful. They make 750 cases . The vineyard is entirely biodynamic. Michele and I thought it was world class. The 2013 is their second vintage. Winemakers consider 2 013 a perfect microclimatic vintage. We also believe this will be a $200 bottle in another release or three. We were allocated 60 bottles, with only 28 bottles remaining. We are offering them at $75 per, 5% off 6, 10% off 12.

94+ Wine Spectator, 92 WE, 91 Parker, WE below, others will send if you are interested as still getting new press.

12 months in French Oak before release ( 40% new) Gonzague Lutron winemaker ( Latour a Pomerol, Petrus )

We estimate this bottle has a minimum 20 years, but is very table worthy now.

All the best,
Rex & Michele
