Understanding what optimal loading should be in rehabilitation and injury prevention is essential for Sports Physiotherapists and Sports Medicine Practitioners.

The 2nd World Conference in Sports Physiotherapy aims to deliver this cutting edge knowledge from identified experts from across the world as hosted by the 2010 authors of the ACPSEM Acute Management of Soft Tissue Injuries.

The conference will examine optimal loading for various tissue types and systems such as muscle/ligament /tendon/bone/neurological, and present each system moving through the hard science, translating science into practice and worked examples/case studies from elite sport environments.

YOUR BEST PARTNER FOR CONFERENCE SUCCESS: IFSPT!

PARTNER WITH THE IFSPT FOR YOUR NEXT CONGRESS: APPLICATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR 2018 AND 2019

Our member organizations are important to us! One of the ways we help spread the word about the IFSPT and support our member organizations is by partnering with our members in their national and international conferences.

These partnerships bring important benefits to both member organizations and the IFSPT itself. The hosting organization may incorporate an IFSPT segment in their conference, or provide the IFSPT the means for the IFSPT to present its own symposium directly before the member organization's conference. The IFSPT Executive Board holds its meeting before the partner's conference, bringing in attendees from other member organizations and expanded marketing to the IFSPT MOs.

For the General Meeting, the hosting organization, by setting up a partnership with the IFSPT, may brand their conference as the World Congress of Sports Physical Therapy, a copyright held by the IFSPT. Delegates from all 27 Member Organizations attend the General Meeting and typically stay for the host country's conference.

Details may be found on the website here.

The Executive Board is now accepting applications for symposia in 2018 and 2019 through June 1, 2017, and applications for 2019's General Meeting through August 1, 2017. The 2019 General Meeting location applications will be evaluated and chosen before the 2017 General Meeting and announced there.

Applications should be sent to both Mario Bizzini and Mary Wilkinson for processing.
