Membership Dues Increase 
The National Board of Girl Scouts of the USA has increased the annual membership fee for girls and adults to $25, starting with the membership year that officially begins on October 1, 2017. 
 
Those who register or renew early will pay the dues increase when Early Bird opens on May 22. For more information regarding the dues increase, please refer to our FAQs .
Speaking of Early Bird... 
Early Bird registration will begin a little later this year as we introduce an enhanced online registration system that co-leaders/parents will use for the first time starting May 22.

Girl Scout Cookie recognition distribution is in full-swing. With so many girls "crushing" their cookies goals this year, we have more recognitions than ever! Product Sales Coordinators will continue to contact you as soon as everything is available for pick-up.

FREE Leadership Experiences for Teens  
Open to any girl entering grades 9-12, these amazing leadership experiences are FREE, but girls must apply prior to June 1 and be selected. 

 

YWEAchieve is a three-day business basics program where girls gain business, finance and marketing tips, visit with local female entrepreneurs and experience college life by staying in a dorm. Apply today!

 

YWECamp is a five-day outing at camp, which pairs girls with an adult mentor to learn about career planning, networking and financial literacy. Mentor teams also enjoy traditional camp experiences. Apply today!

Where Will You Be For Eclipse 2017? 
Hopefully, on a Girl Scout adventure! On August 21, a rare, total solar eclipse will be visible in Nebraska, the first one seen in the United States since 1979, with the next one not occurring until 2024. Learn more and check out all our solar eclipse programs here .
