 Can Church's Do About the Opioid Crisis"   
Rev. Dr. Barry Ball will be doing a presentation on the church's response to the drug crisis and will give you more information about the nature of addiction and how our churches can be a resource to our communities in addressing the crisis. Barry's presentation will be January 16 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Pea Ridge UMC. 5747 East Pea Ridge Road, Huntington.

Saint Marks United Methodist Women in Mission
On December 12 members of Saint Marks UMW; Becky and John Britton, Drema Beverley, Carole Cline, Donna Lowe, Mary Mayes, Norma Parker, Lessie Runner, Pauline Shaver, Patty Sims and Margaret Waybright, rang bells in front of Kroger in South Charleston. The money collected went to Heart and Hand Ministries (formerly CDOM) . Heart and Hand is Midland South United Methodist Conference's mission project. During our eight hours we collected $505.31. We had a great day! Thanks to all who participated.
