It's SPRING CONCERT season!
May is here and that means that the countdown is on for our annual Spring Dance Concert!  There will be a lot of important paperwork and information going home with students in the coming weeks so please check dance bags and your email inbox.  All questions regarding the concert should be answered in the CONCERT HANDBOOK .  If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Mother/Daughter Dance and Father/Daughter Dance
It's time to get our favorite concert dances ready for the stage!  All dancers ages 8 and up and parents are invited to join in the fun.  

Rehearsals will be on Fridays (5/5, 5/19, 6/2)
Mother/Daughter Dance: 5:00-5:45
Father/Daughter Dance: 5:45-6:15
 
Please sign up in the office by  so we know how many families to expect! 



PROGRAM AD CONTEST EXTENDED!
The deadline for all personal and business ads has been extended to next Wednesday, May 10.  

The Program that you receive at the Spring Dance Concert will contain the order of the performances and the names of all of our performers. It is a great source of business advertising! Many of Skippack and surrounding area businesses would love to place an ad in our book. Please note that our back cover has already been claimed.

IN APPRECIATION FOR YOUR EFFORTS, WE WILL PRESENT THE FOLLOWING AWARDS:
  • Top Seller (business ads exceeding $500): 1 Year Free Tuition for 1 class
  • All students who bring in business ads exceeding $250 will be entered into a drawing to win a Half Year Free Tuition for 1 class 

PICTURE DAY
Bradley Digital Photography will be offering recital photo sessions at The Dance Centre on Sunday, May 21 from 10AM-1PM by appointment only.  If you are interested you may secure your appointment in the office.  

*There is a sitting fee in order to secure an appointment: $10 per student, $15 per family. Sitting fee may be cash or check made out to  "Bradley Digital" .


BACKSTAGE MOMS
We are in need of backstage moms to help at our dance concerts.  If you volunteer as a backstage mom you do not need to purchase a ticket for yourself; we will make sure you see your child's class perform in our reserved section in the front of the auditorium.

If you'd like to volunteer, please sign up in the office. 

We appreciate your help so very much...we couldn't do it without you!

CONCERT DVDs
Our concert is professionally filmed by Bradley Digital . This year The Dance Centre will provide each family ONE complimentary DVD.  Additional DVDs are available to purchase from Bradley Digital for $35 each. 

In order to receive your complimentary DVD and/or purchase additional DVDs, please fill out and return the order form to the office no later than Monday, June 12th. A group order will be placed at that time. (Your complimentary DVD will not be ordered unless you fill out and return your order form)

CONCERT T-SHIRT
Please click HERE for the 2017 T-shirt Order Form. All T-shirt orders must be handed into the office by  Saturday, May 13th !!!  We will not have extra t-shirts on sale at the concert.  If you would like one you must pre-order by the 13th. 

TICKET ORDER
Our ticket website will go live on Friday, May 12 at noon and will close on Thursday, June 8 at midnight. All accounts that are paid up-to-date (quarterly accounts paid in full, monthly accounts paid through May) will receive an email from the ticket company with a one-time-use code to gain access. You will have the ability to choose your seats, pay for and print your concert tickets right on the website! Accounts with an outstanding balance will not receive a code until balance is paid in full .

Tickets are $17 per seat in advance, $20 at the door. If you would like to share your seat with your little one, you may do so at your discretion.

DRESS REHEARSAL
Dress Rehearsals will be on Monday, June 5 and Thursday, June 8.  Each class will only need to attend one rehearsal. Please check your class' rehearsal time on the schedule below.

Parents of TDC seniors: please email us a "baby dancer" photo of your soon-to-be grad (and make sure to stock up on tissues).
Memorial Day Weekend
The Dance Centre will be closed May 26 - 29 for Memorial Day Weekend. We hope you have a fun and safe holiday weekend!
