President Donald Trump named Vishal J. Amin as the Executive Office's Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator and Neomi Rao as Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs in the Office of Management and Budget. The two join Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, CMS Administrator Seema Verma, FCC Chairman Ajit Pai and others of Indian descent in key positions in the administration.

Microsoft, eBay, Tencent Invest $1.4 Billion in India's Flipkart    
 
Flipkart, India's leading e-commerce marketplace, received $1.4 billion from Microsoft, eBay and Tencent, bringing the company's value to $11.6 billion.  "We are delighted that [these] innovation powerhouses have chosen to partner with us on their India journey," said Flipkart.

Indian men's national basketball team captain Vishesh Bhriguvanshi earned national captaincy by the time he was 19. Despite his accomplishments, the average basketball fan may not be tuned in to his performance that has him standing heads and shoulders above the competition.

Ambassador Sarna Pays Official Visit to Chicago          

In his first official visit to Chicago, Ambassador Navtej Sarna met with Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and President and Director of the Art Institute of Chicago James Rondeau. The ambassador also met with business leaders and entrepreneurs, praising the partnership between India and Illinois and emphasizing the potential for further growth.
