Monthly Dinner Series
Do you find it difficult to network with panelists or speakers when you attend events? NextGen S. California wants to make connecting with senior practitioners easier for you, so we are launching a Monthly Dinner Series featuring a senior professional in the finance industry at each dinner. These dinners will be limited to ten NextGen members to maintain an intimate setting and facilitate open conversation.

To kick off the Monthly Dinner Series, the first dinner will be held on Monday May 8th in Downtown LA and will feature three senior females. Hosted by Amanda Pullinger, CEO of 100 Women in Finance, and featuring Laila Kollmorgen, Managing Director of PineBridge Investments, and Tracey Briscoe Monroe, Executive Director of UBS Asset Management, this dinner will be an opportunity for NextGen S. California members to connect with three inspirational women.

Space is limited to ten NextGen attendees and registration will be on a first come, first served basis, so be sure to get your RSVP in quickly so you don't miss out.

BIOGRAPHIES
Laila Kollmorgen 
Managing Director, PineBridge Investments

Ms. Kollmorgen is responsible for managing the investments in Collateralized Loan Obligation (“CLO”) tranches issued by third-party managers. She has more than 22 years of fixed income experience that includes originating, structuring, sourcing, investing, and trading US and European products for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York, HSH Nordbank in Hamburg, and BNP Paribas in London. Ms. Kollmorgen holds an MBA from The Wharton School, an MA from the Lauder Institute, University of Pennsylvania, and a BA, cum laude, from Wellesley College. She is a CFA charterholder and holds series 7 and 63 licenses. She speaks German, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

Tracey Briscoe Monroe
Executive Director, UBS Asset Management

Executive Director UBS Asset Management (Americas) Inc. Tracey Briscoe Monroe is a member of the institutional business development team, managing the west coast region. In this role, she works closely with public pension plans in a strategic way to identify investment offerings appropriate for their aggregate portfolios. Tracey acts as a key advisor to the firm's clients, managing and expanding relationships across all asset classes. Prior to joining UBS in 2016, Tracey worked in a business development role for JPMorgan, where she was an Executive Director. Previously, she was Senior Vice President, with Trust Company of the West (TCW), where she was primarily responsible for business development targeting public funds,endowments/foundations and corporations. Tracey was Chief Operating Officer of a privately held hedge fund and has held sales, marketing and product specialist roles with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and JP Morgan Asset Management. Tracey is a board member for the Los Angeles Advisory Board's for College Track and Teach for America, and is also the Co-Head of the Education Committee for 100 Women in Finance, Southern CA.

Amanda Pullinger
CEO, 100 Women in Finance

Ms. Pullinger is the Chief Executive Officer of 100 Women in Finance (previously 100 Women in Hedge Funds). She leads a small staff team and manages over 350 volunteer practitioners globally, overseeing the operations of the organization, which now has over 15,000 members in 21 locations. 

Ms. Pullinger is a former principal of Aquamarine Capital Management, where she was responsible, over a period of seven years, for managing marketing, investor relations and back office administration for two private investment funds. 

Ms. Pullinger is currently Chairman of the Board of The HALO Trust (www.halotrust.org) and she also serves as a Director on the Oxford University Alumni Board. She previously served on the Boards of SkillForce, NYU Cancer Institute and Girls’ Prep, and was on the founding Board of 100 Women in Hedge Funds (now 100 Women in Finance), serving as its President for two years. She is a member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. 

Ms. Pullinger graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University in 1987 with an Honours Degree in Modern History. She earned an MBA from La Salle University, Philadelphia, in 1998, and received the Academic Award for MBA student of the year as well as the Beta Gamma Sigma designation.
