This issue contains the results of a survey of candidates who will be on local ballots in the upcoming municipal primary election. The results include some of the candidates' own personal remarks (not all positive). So please have a look.
The 5,600 copies were prepared for mailing over the weekend. Thanks to a really strong response from Cathedral Prep and Villa Maria
student-volunteers, the work was completed well ahead of schedule.
The newsletters were ready to send to the post office by mid-afternoon on Saturday.

We have a lot of extra copies. Please consider getting some to share with others and perhaps make available at your church or anywhere pro-life people get together.
Our office is usually open between the 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Mother's Day Carnation Project:
Volunteers Needed!
Please let us know if you would like to help with our annual Mother's Day Project by sending a reply e-mail or by calling (814) 882-1333.
Our busiest day will be Friday, May 12, as we prepare approximately 26,000 carnations for distribution to 125 area churches. Volunteers will be needed beginning at 10:30 a.m. and throughout the afternoon on Friday.
Our biggest need on Saturday will be volunteers to make deliveries.
On Sunday, help will be needed
mainly between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Volunteers will receive returned carnations and carnation buckets. The buckets will need to be cleaned, dried, and prepared for re-storage.
Volunteers are also needed to staff our booth at the Millcreek Mall. The booth will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during regular Mall hours.
